Myth: Skipping meals is a good way to lose weight

When meals are skipped people often end up eating more snacks or larger meals to make up for the missed calories. Studies show that those who skip breakfast regularly tend to be heavier than those who choose to eat breakfast. A healthier way to lose weight is to have many small meals throughout the day. Aim at choosing foods that have a variety of nutrients, low in fat, and low-calorie. These food will keep the body healthy, happy, and thriving.
